Four key individuals with extensive experience in real estate consulting and technology oversee the management of Ellipsis.
Salvatore Caldarone
Chief Executive Officer

Sal Caldarone co-founded Realogic Analytics in 1992 and is currently its Chief Executive Officer. In that role, he has been responsible for the management of the firm’s analysis and lease abstracting services. Sal has led the firms efforts in the development of Ellipsis, a lease administration software system, serving as project manager and providing the real estate 		salcaldarone2.jpg (5227 bytes)
expertise necessary to develop the software. His primary responsibilities include management of the business and software development.

Mr. Caldarone has 21 years of experience. Prior to founding Realogic, Sal was an Assistant Vice President at Orix Real Estate Equities, participating in the acquisition of U.S. real estate on behalf of Japanese investors, and the asset management thereof. Prior to Orix, Sal was employed by VMS Realty Partners as a syndication analyst. Sal is an Illinois CPA and started his career with KPMG (f/k/a Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co.)., specializing in the real estate audit division.
Dale Vanderlaan
President, Director of Business Development

Dale Vanderlaan serves as President & Director of Business Development. Dale primary responsibility includes the strategic marketing and sales of Ellipsis.

Dale co-founded Realogic Analytics in 1992. In that role, he has been responsible for the marketing of the firm’s analysis, training

and lease abstracting/due diligence services. Dale has been instrumental in acquiring a substantial business base that includes some of the largest real estate organizations in both the equity and debt markets.

Mr. Vanderlaan has 22 years of experience. Prior to founding Realogic, Dale was a Development Manager at Orix Real Estate Equities where he was heavily involved in the management of the development process of commercial real estate throughout the country. Prior to Orix, Dale participated in the acquisition, disposition, financing and asset management process of office, retail, industrial and hotel assets for Fifield Realty and VMS Realty Partners. Dale is an Illinois CPA and started his career in the audit division with KPMG (f/k/a Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co.).
James Pettinger
Executive Vice President, Director of Software Implementation

James Pettinger serves as EVP, Director of Software
Implementation for Realogic.  Jim's primary responsibilities
include beta testing, software implementations, technical support and general management of day-to-day business operations.

Jim joined Realogic Analytics in 1993 and was promoted to

Executive Vice President and became a co-owner in January, 1996. In his role as EVP, he has been responsible for monitoring internal quality control and review processes, practical applications of technology solutions, management of large client assignments and the day-to-day management of resource and work flow allocation.

Mr. Pettinger has 12 years of experience. Prior to joining Realogic, he worked with Meaden & Moore, a regional accounting firm specializing in investigative accounting and litigation support. Jim graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BS in Accounting and is a CPA.
